xtmembers_fieldeditor 1.1.0 stable released

This extension allows you to create your own TYPOlight member fields.

It is an editor for member fields of the types text and select and creates a complete TYPOlight extension (module) structure containing the new fields, database update, etc. You can either install the extension directly in your TYPOlight modules directory or create a ZIP file and download the extension to your local computer to put it into another TYPOlight installation or the TYPOlight extension repository.

This module allows to create tags for Contao elements. It provides a basic database structure to save the tags and it can be used to visualize existing tags. The module contains the following extensions:

A widget TagField for backend forms. You can add tags as a comma separated list into a text field. The tags are saved into a separate database table.
A frontend module Tag Cloud to visualize the tags in a cloud like in the Contao extension repository. The Tag Cloud can optionally contain a top 10 list of tags and a list of related tags.
A frontend module Global article list to show a list of all articles in a Contao installation. If the global article list is called from a tag cloud, only the articles with the given tag are listed
A tag field for articles, news entries and calendar/events, and content elements
An extended content element "heading" that can be shown only if tags are used.

tabindex 1.0.0 stable released

tabindex adds the tabindex HTML attribute to most of your form elements. By filling in unique numeric indexes between 1 and 32767 you can set an activation order for your elements when a user tries to navigate through the form using the TAB key.

Please note that you may not enter duplicate tabindex values per web page. You can test your individual tab index values by pressing the Tab key in the associated frontend form. The form elements will be activated depending on indexes in incremental order.

The tabindex attribute is very useful for multicolumn forms.

To present the results, tags_articles uses a modified version of the global article list called Article list (tags) which is also capable to restrict the list of articles to a given subtree of a TYPOlight installation and an optional template column. While global article list shows all available articles, Article list (tags) shows nothing unless it is called with a tag URL parameter.

If TYPOlight asks you to change the database tables, please click cancel, otherwise you will loose all your previously created data with MemberExtensions. TYPOlight installs the files and states that no database changes have been made (if you update from MemberExtensions 1.8.0).

efgExcel is an Extended Form Generator (EFG) plugin which adds Microsoft Excel 2007 XML (.xslx) file support for EFG exports using the free phpExcel library. As soon as efgExcel is installed, all Excel exports will be made in Excel 2007 format. This could be very helpful if a customer insists on the Excel XML format.

efgExcel uses EFG's efgExportXls hook to overwrite the existing Excel 95 (.xls) export.

Please note that efgExcel only runs in TYPOlight installations which use the PHP extensions zip and xml. If these extensions are not enabled in the system, EFG still exports the original BIFF5 (Excel 95) files.

efgExcel requires at least EFG version 1.9.9.

Conceptual design and implementation of a survey tool in ILIAS Open Source for the Helmut Schmidt University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg.

In ILIAS you could use surveys to easily collect information from a large number of ILIAS users, for example to evaluate courses or other events. ILIAS surveys are easy to create and administer, even for non-experienced users. With a sufficient basis of survey questions, teachers could create their own evaluations fast and efficient.

ILIAS offers you a broad variety of statistical evaluation methods but it does not claim to be an expert system in statistical evaluation. Thus you are able to export your survey results to CSV (comma separated values) or Microsoft Excel to do your statistical analysis with expert systems like SPSS. The survey tool contains:

Creation and use of question pools to store survey questions
Survey question types: Essay questions, Matrix questions, Metric questions, Nominal questions, and Ordinal questions
Personalized and anonymized surveys
Question blocks in surveys
Preconditions for survey questions and question blocks
Statical evaluation and export (CSV, Microsoft Excel)
Statistical evaluation with cumulated and per user results
