yamltools 1.0.3 released
YAML tools adds some additional TYPOlight templates for those who use the YAML (Yet Another Multicolumn Layout) CSS framework instead of the TYPOlight CSS framework. If you don't use YAML, you should not install this extension.
The following templates are new/modified in TYPOlight:
- New nav_yaml.tpl: Use this template with the TYPOlight navigation modules to add support for YAML nav_shinybuttons.css or nav_slidingdoor.css
- New nav_yaml_vlist.tpl: Use this template with the TYPOlight navigation modules to add support for YAML nav_vlist.css
- Modified form_widget.tpl: This template and some code changes add support for the YAML Form Construction Kit. Just add the yform class to your form to add support for YAML forms.css output.

- Added hide option for parent menu title of YAML vlists in the navigation module

YAML Templates in TYPOlight

Workshop at the 1st TYPOlight user meeting in Würzburg
There is also a screencast available on how to create a YAML based template which was the practical part of the workshop.
Unfortunately the screencast is in german only. I am not sure if I will produce an english audio track as well. The screencast features the practical part of the YAML template workshop. It is recorded in H.264 format and can be played with Apple Quicktime or VLC video player.
The audio quality is a bit poor because I had to use the internal notebook microphone and I wasn't able to put my mouth directly in front of the microphone :-) so please turn the volume up (if you are able to understand german...).
